“Automation and AI are removing 90% of the repetitive workload in machining. From quoting to programming, the shift is huge. But that doesn’t mean less is required of graduates – it means more. They need to understand the tools, know how to apply them, and build a solid technical foundation during their studies.”
–Dominic Vrolijks, Founder, Sunshine Coast Maker Space
